VALOUR is a government-funded programme that will ensure thousands of ex-forces personnel can visit veteran support centres across the UK and gain easier access to local services across health, housing, employment and more.
In Yorkshire and Humber, three specialist military charities are working together to ensure every veteran and their family can access the right help, at the right time. This portfolio is led by Hull 4 Heroes.
Through shared expertise in housing, health, wellbeing, and employment, the VALOUR Programme provides coordinated support for those who have served; helping individuals rebuild confidence, reclaim independence, and create a positive future.
As a VALOUR-recognised centre, Hull 4 Heroes will work closely with a consortium of partners to deliver high-quality, joined-up support.
- DMWS (Defence Medical Welfare Service) – supporting the physical and mental health of our Armed Forces community.
- Forces Transition Group – leading on employment, training, and helping veterans build strong futures beyond service.
Together, this will be part of a national network that includes VALOUR Field Officers and VALOUR HQ, working to ensure veterans get the right support, in the right place, at the right time.
