Armed Forces Day is a chance to show your support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets.

Armed Forces Day is a special day and this year, despite the current situation, we celebrate and thank our Armed Forces for everything they do. The Defence Medical Welfare Service (DMWS) was set up to respond to medical situations such as the one we are faced with now. We will continue to provide support to serving personnel, veterans and their families during this time of great need.

The last year has been a busy one for our servicemen and servicewomen of the UK Armed Forces. Their professionalism, commitment and versatility have rarely been more evident than during the pandemic.

“The Armed Forces community cannot celebrate in person this year, so we are doing our best to show you through social media who our people are, what they do, and how you can show your support.
