Beverley Young
Beverley is a former qualified nurse (SRN) and healthcare business development leader with more than 40 years’ experience working across NHS, social care, complex homecare, and military service in the QARANC. She has a proven track record of driving sustainable revenue growth, securing high-value healthcare contracts, and developing strategic partnerships with NHS commissioners, local authorities, and third-sector organisations. Combining extensive clinical expertise with strong commercial acumen, Beverley has led national growth strategies, designed innovative service models, and delivered business expansion for leading healthcare providers including BUPA Home Healthcare, Active Assistance Group, and Calea UK. Most recently, she held a senior regional leadership role with the Defence Medical Welfare Service, supporting veterans and vulnerable communities through collaborative NHS and charity partnerships prior to retirement.
In her spare time Beverley competes in ‘scentwork for companion dogs’ competitions, enjoys walking and relaxing in the Lake District, gardening, and entertaining.
Beverley has family ties with the Armed Forces (with close family currently serving) and keeps up to date with changing miliary initiatives for veterans and their families.
