Flowers from Afar - DMWS

DMWS provide a valuable service to families of serving or ex-serving personnel, who have lost loved ones, and who are buried overseas.

Flowers from Afar enables family members to have flowers placed on the resting place of their loved one, providing comfort to those left behind. One of our service users has very kindly summed up her experience of the scheme:

“We first asked for DMWS’s help in 1968 and since then they have placed flowers on our daughter’s grave twice a year and sent us photographs. It has been a great comfort to know our little girl has flowers and that we’ll never forget her. Thank you DMWS”
