DMWS Welfare Officers Demmie Savvides and Stacy Loizou win Team of the Year Award - DMWS
DMWS has teams working in hospitals and the community in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Cyprus. The pandemic made 2020 challenging and the most difficult of years with all members of staff in the organisation reacting and adjusting routine working practices to continue to deliver our vital service during the global crisis.
Throughout this difficult year Welfare Officers Demmie Savvides and Stacy Loizou have demonstrated tenacity and shown great initiative in their continuing delivery of the range of medical welfare services both in the BFC contracted hospital in Limassol, the YGIA Polyclinic, and the various RoC state hospitals where BFC personnel sometimes find themselves. I am delighted to say that our welfare officers in Team Cyprus, Demmie Savvides and Stacy Loizou, have won the DMWS Team of the Year award for 2020.
