Worshipful Company of Insurers Charitable Trust has awarded the Defence Medical Welfare Service (DMWS) a grant for the provision of medical welfare support to members of the Armed Forces community.

We are absolutely delighted to receive this funding award which will help to continue to provide medical welfare support to members of the Armed Forces Community (serving, reservists and veterans) and their family members or carers during one of the most critical and stressful times of their lives.

Through Covid-19 DMWS welfare staff have adapted their support to ensure veterans in particular have not been left alone and without support. We have helped with bereavement, home adaptions, social isolation, medicine and essential food shopping delivery.
