DMWS awarded grant from AFCFT Veterans Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund - DMWS
The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust has awarded The Defence Medical Welfare Service (DMWS) with a continuation grant from the Veterans Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund.
This funding will provide continued delivery of the Strategic Pathways project, so as to ensure support for organisations receiving Positive Pathways grants in the newly announced Rounds 4 and 5; as well as to support existing Positive Pathways programmes which have had their delivery period delayed due to Covid-19.
DMWS will continue work in partnership with other Strategic Pathways grant holders, to collaboratively support the development of the project as well as the creation and delivery of training and legacy resources for smaller grant holders. DMWS continues to support the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust in the training and awareness of the AFC Impact Hub.
“We’re very grateful to The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust for their grant. Thanks to them we’ll be able to continue to support even more people with their Positive Pathways applications helping improve the health and well-being of veterans.”
Paul Gaffney, Chief Executive, Defence Medical Welfare Service
