We are delighted to confirm that DMWS will be launching at new Welfare Service dedicated to supporting the Armed Forces Community at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital. This partnership will provide comprehensive and compassionate support for the local Armed Forces Community, helping them through their healthcare journey.

Through this support, DMWS will help with:

  • Better experiences of healthcare, aiding quicker recovery.
  • Reducing stress and anxiety.
  • Accessing financial support and safe housing
  • Tackling feelings of isolation and loneliness.
  • Strategies to reduce alcohol and drug misuse.
  • Accessing treatment for mental health illnesses such as PTSD.
  • Finding meaningful employment or volunteering opportunities after service.
